What would you do?
A gang of grown men surround you and your 3 year old child after you've put in a shift at the mobile soup kitchen. They proceed to hurl insults and garbage at you and your child ... all courtesy of the rat bastard husband you've finally gotten out of your life.
What would you do?
I don't know.
Who would you turn to for comfort?
No one.

You should have called the police immediately. I think you said you got rid of your cell phone...that is a mistake.. but also the police or the shelter might be able to supply you with one that can only be used to dial emergency numbers...
you turn to your friends for comfort Coco..all of us...
OK...butting in here..but it is time you pack up and move...new city...new home...teachers (especially gifted teachers like you) are needed everywhere...
I know you love your hometown...but it is not worth it any longer...
You turn to your friends Coco... that's what we are here for.
You GO NOW AND get an Order of Protection taken out against this rat and make sure that he stays so very far, far away.
We love you and are praying for you!
Love ya!

AH heck..it would be fine...
Aww Coco...I just pray that you find some comfort in whatever path you take. Know that you are loved, by more people than you can ever imagine.
Love Julie
My dearest Coco,
I would not know what to do if that happened to my while I was with my 7 and 3 year old children either. It is easier for us to tell you what to do when we're not in the situation (although, I'm getting pretty well close to it). I do know this, if you are in need of help, turn to your friends - cyber or real. No matter who we are or where we are the true ones will answer the call.
And if ever, you are presented with this situation again, FIGHT - FIGHT LIKE BLOODY HELL - for yourself, and your child. Give yourself the upper hand. Knowing that you are stronger, and showing that you are is an intimidating behavior. Don't let evil win...
I love you and am here for you whenever you need me.
Well Bond can atest to this but I would have pulled out a blade and cut. Sorry you had to deal with that. That sucks.
Dear friend,
Solar plexus, instep, nose, GROIN!
If you need us..we're here Sweetie.. always.
I'm so sorry they did this to you and Brennan.
Best advice short of leaving the area, vary your routine, drive don't walk, take self defense...
If you need to talk....
From the mind of Meribah:
My goodness, Coco! What an awful thing to have happen to you! Looking at the date of this post, it looks like I'm behind...again! I certainly hope everything works out better for you. Try not to let it get you down. Just remember, we are here for you. Hugs and God bless!
