FIVE FOR FRIDAY, or "What Were They Thinking?"
Musicians have always been, and continue to be, a strange breed. Leave me a comment if you remember any of these freakish fashion statements. Or better, if you participated in the insanity ...
LOL...I'm happy to say that I never took fashion advise from any of those musicians. I did however, participate in some of the insanity of the early 90's. Remember 'grunge'? Yup. I totally did that. Flannel shirts every day...and I'm a girl. I swear I had a closet full. LOL I could have blended in on stage with Pearl Jam or Nirvana, no problem. Oh the things we do when we're young. Haha
*jumping* Me! Me! ME! Elton John, David Bowie, Madonna and KISS =)
Oh, how I loved Madonna - I used to sneak out the house when I was dressed up... but my Daddy caught me once. So I decided better not to dress (or paint my face) like kiss - I would have been arrested lifelong =)
(Saturday Night) I must confess I loved that song...there, I said it out loud.... but I was young and impressionable and the sun was in my eyes and my dog ate my other albums.
I was trying to dress like Cyndi Lauper...but since most of that was against school dress code, I just colored my hair...purple highlights! We were Flashdance dressers! I could use some leg warmers today!

ROTFLMOO! Happily, I didn't come of age until the 80s...ah, the headbands and wrist bands and sloopy socks...
I did not join 3 of my buddies in 7th grade and dress up like KISS for a talent show. I did not, and you can't prove I did.
Ah Elton in his Fat Pink Prince phase =)
